On March 13th, the annual Iowa Beverage Association “refreshment break – beverage day” for legislators and their staff took place in the State Capitol rotunda. Beverage Day on the Hill was the highlight of a busy week in the Capitol. It is designed to give legislators and Capitol staff a refreshing break from the activity surrounding this important deadline week. At least 30 legislators stopped by our table and sampled drinks from our association members that were available for tasting. Coke products are always the most popular, especially Diet Coke, and first to run out!
