the service team is fantastic! our brake shoe broke on our ram van and the service team jumped into action!! we were just passing thru but that didn't matter. they helped us out and we are so grateful!!!

Don't, Don't, Don't give these guys your business. They will take you to the bank starting out by adding almost $1,000 to the MSRP of EVERY new vehicle on their lot. They are ripping off each and every one of you who shop here. Too many other KIA dealers in the state that don't do this to allow them to take advantage of you. You have been warned! Drive on past.

Poor customer service, wouldn't recommend to my won't enemy. They get away with not immediately working on your car, by refusing to acknowledge there's even a problem tell they have you on their 3 month wait list. Horrible, horrible customer service. Went to pickup my car and not a single person had greeted me or told me what they did to my car. 0/10

If you are looking to purchase a new car from Kia of Des Moines, do yourself a favor and shop around. We were getting a quote on ordering a new car and by the end they added extra $5,000 to our total. Their response was that they always add an extra $5000 to the MSRP. We contacted two other Kia dealerships in Iowa and they both quoted us the MSRP price.

1/5 if you're looking for a used car - go somewhere else and fast. Sales personnel used poor/pressuring sales tactics. Offered 4,000 for my trade and I quickly declined and went somewhere else. A few weeks later I noticed they had the same car with the exact make, model, trim with 20,000 more miles on there lot for 11,000. Granted they incur expenses with cleaning and holding a used car, but having the exact car at 3x the price of my offer seems like they are trying to take as much out of you as possible. Do your research and know your car's worth.

I took my car purchased at this location in to be serviced under the warranty and made it clear that I wanted nothing done unless it was covered by that warranty. I was then charged for a diagnostic that was not covered under the warranty and was explained the reasoning after the service. When I called and spoke to the manager of the service department my concern was dismissed because "the service team is given a script". If a customer is telling you what they do and don't want to happen to their vehicle and you do it despite those desires that is a terrible business practice. I feel very misinformed and taken advantage of.

I've had my car for two months now, and we couldn't be happier. Great service, many helping hands, and quality vehicles new and used. I'll definitely stick with them for any future vehicle needs. The car we bought was this year's model with only 20,000 miles on it. They were respectful and all about getting us out of there with a nice car.

We went in after doing much research as far as trade-in value for our car and fair pricing with the intent of buying a Telluride for cash and trading in our Mercedes. Given that the car drove well, we were prepared to write a check that afternoon. The salesman, (who was very young and had a cocky attitude from the get go), that came out to help was hesitant to even show us the car and then wouldn't show us or allow us to test drive the one we wanted to see using the excuse that test drives were for "serious buyers" only. In addition, when questioned about the 10-15% (depending on trim) mark-up over full list and the need to negotiate that, we were told in no uncertain terms, take it or leave it....we don't need to make sales, and who pays cash anyway....right?!?! As we were getting in our car, he was in his manager's office and both were laughing it up....completely visible through a wall of windows. Wow! Unfortunately, this encounter completely ruined the brand for us. I mean come
on....it is only a Kia, not some epic car!

I have had nothing but great customer service here! I am a hard person to please, that being said i have never left unsatisfied. From the day I bought my Kia Soul till today I have been pleased. The two girls working the service counter are professional and patient! They always smile even when they are getting chewed out. (Again I am hard to please sometimes) the management are willing to do anything to keep the customer happy. I had done work done on my car and they didn't have a loaner and they put me in a brand new vehicle so I could get my errands taken care of! Also the man who sold me my car (Chris W) has always been professional and super nice when I come in for oil changes he takes time to say hello. And the service reminder emails are a great thing for people like me!
My next car will be a Kia. It will also be purchased from Kia of Des Moines!

I recently took my Mitsubishi Outlander to the KIA dealership to fix a minor recall issue. I was greeted immediately and had the issue explained to me and told how long the fix would take. I waited in the waiting room for only about 30 minutes and then was notified that the repair was completed. Since it was a recall there was no charge. But they still took the time to wash my car! I have purchased my last 4 cars from KIA and can't imagine going anywhere else. Great service, excellent vehicles and a good value.
