Our theme for 2026 is "Jingle In July" during the Ankeny Chamber SummerFest Grand Parade on Saturday, July 11, 2026, launching at 9 AM. Whether you are a spectator or want to participate in the parade, we are excited to bring a parade to our Ankeny community in 2026! Come out to celebrate with the community.
Due to Construction, the route will be shortened for 2026. The 1.9 mile route will start at Southview Middle School on SW Cherry St., travel North to cross 1st Street and continue on NW Ash Dr. Travel North on NW Ash Dr. and turn into the Tennis Court drive way just S. of NW Wagner Blvd.

To Register, each entry needs to provide proof of insurance certificate (Click for Insurance Requirements) and complete registration by the deadline of Tuesday, July 7th at end-of-day. No late registrations are accepted. Parade Ticket sent by email.

Judging occurs along the route and in the staging lot prior to launch. All decorated entries will be released sooner in the line-up. The winners will be announced on our website and will be awarded their trophies on stage at Ankeny Chamber SummerFest on Sunday, July 12th, around 4:45 PM.
No Driver's meeting is necessary this year. Rules have changed to allow underhand throwing of candy from a float or moving vehicle. Please read the provided links for details on insurance, rules, route map, and staging.
