Join us during Parkinson’s Awareness Month for an afternoon of education, movement and connection. Parkinson's Disease Awareness Fair
On With Life is proud to host a free Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Fair designed for individuals living with Parkinson’s, care partners, family members and community supporters. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, exploring resources or looking to stay active and connected, this event offers practical tools and meaningful support. Attendees will rotate through interactive learning stations focused on brain health, movement and exercise, communication strategies, adaptive equipment and more.
Sessions will include topics such as:
- Understanding Parkinson’s
- BIG & boxing-based movement
- Singing and LOUD speech techniques
- Adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment (DME)
- Cognitive fitness strategies
Between sessions, guests can explore resource tables and connect with trusted community partners, including therapy providers, fitness experts, caregiver resources, insurance specialists and local senior services.
Registration is free but required. The first 100 registrants will receive a complimentary event t-shirt. Additional shirts will be available for purchase at the event. Doors open at 12 p.m. and programming will begin at 12:30 p.m.
